The club for Adults with learning disabilities was left without a home with no notice by the SE Trust – Cllr Enright is bringing this to the attention of top Trust management and is seeking a new home for the Club

Cllr Cadogan Enright proposed that Kilclief’s Glebe House be included as one of the dozens of local community organisations that Down Council makes a contribution to on an annual basis.

The Council budget is £868,000 and consists of grants from £5800 to Lecale Gaelic Society to £125,000 to the Saint Patrick’s Centre

Cadogan proposed £5000pa to Gllebe House, but opposition from Sinn Fein has set this back a month for further examination

Raholp and Bannaghan Road residents were delighted when a year-long campaign by Cllr Cadogan Enright to get a safer location for the bus stop in Raholp finally paid off.

Cllrs Enright and Curran have succeeded in over turning the negative policy on bus transport within the South Eastern Trust – Ministerial Support for public transport, and new NHS guidelines have provided new impetus to this campaign.

1. Raholp and Saul were included AND
2. The commuter service links with Belfast bus connections.
3. Saul Road in Downpatrick also benefits
4. Significantly more services will be on the route
