Last night and today the Green Party along with local anglers have been monitoring one of the worst and most disastrous fish kills ever seen in the Quoile if not the whole country.
We are currently posting photographs and soon video footage onto our flickr page and website. We will literally upload them as we get them to a computer.

You will see how oil covers the reeds on the river side. Dead birds have also been discovered. We have footage taken yesterday evening (29/08/08) which shows thousands of fish being washed out past the barriers as they are dying or too weak to swim against the current. This footage is currently being uploaded.
